Will We Be Notified Of COVID Changes?

Yes! We will notify you no later than a month before of any major changes that might occur because of COVID, such as reduction in wedding size, venue changes to accommodate local, state and federal restrictions, etc…

You will be notified via email, and through updates on our wedding website.

How will COVID guidance affect the wedding?

Since this is the couple’s third run at planning their dream day, we will be following all CDC, state, and local safety guidelines. As recommendations change, we will post updates. The ceremony is outside, however cocktail hour and the reception will be indoors. You will be asked about your vaccination status (this is not a HIPAA violation noted by the bride who works in healthcare compliance). Please note that those who fail to comply will not be permitted to attend our wedding. Additionally, current WA state guidelines require attendees to wear masks when indoors.

Can My Kids Join The Party?

While Katie and Will both love kids, working with them weekly coaching the local climbing team, this is an adults only event……also because we’re going to get low ;)

Are There Additional Places To Stay?

Yes, we are currently working on securing an additional lodging block at hotels nearby, in Hood River, OR. There are additional AirBNB locations nearby that we recommend folks look at as well if you desire something close but more off the beaten path.

Where Is The Wedding?

Our wedding is located at Skamania Lodge, in Stevenson, WA. For more details please see the Accommodations and Travel page.

I Can’t Attend the Wedding, But Will There Be A Livestream?

Yes! We are working on coordinating that with the Lodge and vendors as we speak. The link for that will be listed here and on the wedding website front page.

Where Do I Fly Into?

While Skamania Lodge is based in Washington, it is closer to the Portland, PDX airport. Skamania is located 50 minutes away from PDX, and 3.5 hours away from SEA (Seattle’s airport).

Will I Need A Car?

Due to the distance from nearby airports, it is recommended that you rent a car at the airport you fly into, or buddy up for carpools.

Where Should I Park?

There is on-site parking at Skamania Lodge.

I Have Dietary Restrictions. Will There Be Options For Me?

Please let us know as soon as possible and we will work with the chef to make sure you have plenty of options! We currently have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options in our menu.

What Time Does The Party Start?

Our ceremony will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 24th, 2021.
After the ceremony will follow pictures and cocktail hour, with the reception starting at 6:00 pm.
